Aaron has advised us he has finished his secondary design studies on the new hydraulic ram ring prony brake. He is satisfied with the results and is proceeding with the final prints required for the new design.
From his initial calculations it appears the brake should have the capability to absorb 300+ horsepower, but most importantly, could have a torque capacity of around 2200 lb/ft. As he has told us, this new design should provide the small to medium sized tractor dealers with an economical and reliable pto dynamometer.
