Aaron’s Power Corner will be revealing several new articles and tutorials related to Prony brake dynamometers.
First, his article on Tribology, the study of friction and the coefficient of friction, which was used for his engineering basis of new brake designs. Aaron’s years of practical experience with mechanical technology has provided background in engineering a superior product for newly patented high horsepower, high torque, radial force, and axial force Prony brakes. These superior product designs are the backbone in all Dyno Tech dynamometers.
Next, his registered copyright article of ‘’DEPTH’’, an acronym for dynamometers, energy, torque, power, and horsepower. Due to the length and scope of ‘’DEPTH’’ it will be released in a multiple of series.
His last article will be Prony brake dynamometers and will be broken down into a pair of articles.
Aaron’s intentions for writing these articles, and any future articles, are to extend the history in recognizing a very narrow niche industry, the use of mechanical friction brakes as load absorption dynamometers.
