 Creative thoughts and simple ideas are usually what starts new innovations. Anyone having a creative mind can produce new and simple designs. As time passes, it is the simple ideas that lead to the improvements of another device or even totally new inventions.

The following pages will show steps in which a simple steel plate is turned into the stator section for the new prony brake dynamometer. During the designing process, it was my number one goal to simplify assembly, disassembly, and replacement of individual components during re-manufacturing of the brake.
