The newly patented Dyno Tech DT843 dynamometer provides agricultural dealerships the capability to load test 800 horsepower@1000 rpm, along with an impressive, rated torque capacity of 4300 lb/ft.
This new dynamometer uses the innovation of a single rotor tube absorption unit, providing smooth dynamic operation during high horsepower test sessions. Combining smooth dynamic rotor operation along with equalized internal torque loading makes this new design superior to previous prony brakes which require multiple connected rotors.
With its patented design, the DT843 boasts a 20%+ increase in internal cooling efficiency. Direct cooling at the point of internal friction, combined with a 275-gallon supplemental cooling reservoir provides maximum dynamic high horsepower test sessions. During high torque load testing, its mass, provided by the supplemental water reservoir, provides maximum stability during dynamic operations.
