📘 A Message from Aaron Warsaw — Author of DEPTH
After several weeks of proudly displaying my tutorial, DEPTH, on the Dyno Tech website, it is my sincere hope that those who’ve read it have gained a foundational understanding of power and dynamometers.
I wrote DEPTH using an old-school approach—keeping it simple. My goal was to reach those who may lack mechanical aptitude, engineering training, or background in the science of power measurement. This tutorial touches only the basic principles, distilled from over 55 years of hands-on experience in design engineering, manufacturing, and field applications.
Throughout my career, I’ve applied for and received three utility patents for Prony brake dynamometers, and I continue to research new improvements to make an already successful product even better.
